Current funding for the Gi21 program ended on September 30, 2008 and the information found in the program modules is up-to-date as of December 31, 2008.  To facilitate use of the modules from now till the future continuation of the program, new documents can be posted from each module and sub-module main pages and the community discussions are open.  However the main module pages and documents will not be updated.  If you have any questions, please contact Kirsten Clark.


The Bureau of Labor Statistics is the principal fact-finding agency for the Federal Government in the broad field of labor economics and statistics, including data on wages and earnings, occupations, employment and unemployment,  and demographic characteristics of the U.S. labor force.

  • Bureau of Labor Statistics - BLS Demographic Data

    The Bureau provides a select number of resources relating demographics to the United States labor force. Most data covers sex, age (16 years and older), and race/ethnicity (white, black and Hispanic).
     
  • Local Area Unemployment Statistics

    The Local Area Unemployment Statistics (LAUS) program produces monthly and annual employment, unemployment, and labor force data for Census regions and divisions, States, counties, metropolitan areas, and many cities, by place of residence.
