Overview

The Travel and Recreation section of the USDA website provides links to information regarding traveling abroad, outdoor travel safety, traveling with pets and importing animals, as well as other links to reports such as the “Guide to Bringing Items Back into the U.S.,” publications such as “Don’t Forget Your Checklist” a guide to packing the essentials, and events.  Related links provide access to information such as Tourism, Travel Advisories, and Alerts.

The U.S. Department of Transportation’s Citizen Services section has a Travel page with links to important information about travelling by air, car, cruise ship and rail.
