This module focuses on material dealing with international relations and foreign country information.

 

International relations is a broad subject that encompasses foreign affairs and global issues among nations.  It also includes the roles of individual governments, intergovernmental organizations(IGOs), non-government organizations(NGOs), and multinational corporations (MNCs).

This module is divided into subtopics that provide access to resources, guides and exercises in each subject area.

  • CIA World Factbook

    This web site, from the CIA, provides basic information on all the countries world. This information covers topics such as population, government structure, and history. It also contains a list of all the international organizations in the appendix.

  • Intergovernmental Search Engine

    This is a custom Google search engine that searches the web pages of international governmental organizations.

  • International Organizations web links

    This site, from Northwestern University, links to the home pages of the various international governmental organizations.
