The Educational Programs & Materials section contains useful orientation information concerning the federal courts system. The History of the Federal Judiciary is an online book that includes a biographical directory of federal judges, a history of each of the federal courts, summaries of several notable federal trials throughout history, an overview of judicial administration and organization, a pictorial survey of federal courthouses, and a timeline of landmark judicial legislation.
