Crime and Justice information is often difficult to find, mainly because the information comes from a variety of federal agencies from all three branches of government: executive, legislative and judicial. This module is designed to assist users in finding information on topics including corrections, courts, crime and crime prevention, the justice system, and law enforcement.
While the Department of Justice is the primary government entity concerned with these topics, there are others as well. Important documents and online databases are highlighed as appropriate. Statistics are always a challenge, so they have been given special treatment.
